Get a new fur child at the Vinton Fall Festival

vinton fall festivalOctober is Adopt a Shelter Dog Month!

Shelter dogs are the best types of dogs to adopt, because they NEED homes! If you are in need of a new fur child, then the Vinton Fall Festival is your place to be this weekend.

The Regional Center for Animal Care and Protection (RCACP) will be set up in the parking lot of the Vinton Library (300 S. Pollard Street) on Saturday.

The RCACP says they will be debuting their new adoption trailer purchased with a PetSmart Charities grant to transport and display their adoptable animals.

“This trailer will allow RCACP to attend more events with our animals as we work with the community to find loving, forever homes for them,” organizers explained in a press release.

Of course, the fall festival won’t be only exclusively about adopting animals, there will also be music, food, and fun!
